"This is my secons stay here and I have used the sauna both times! It's so beautiful. The hotel is placed very convenient and close to everything. The staff is so kind and helpful with everything I needed. There was a storm when I was there and the owner was so kind to drive me to the restaurant so I didn't have to walk in the storm. He was easy to reach whenever I had a question and also offered me breakfast and later check out when I needed it. I also got to use the trust based bar, which, which is cute. And I got to check out the new pub in town."

"We were very pleased with our room at Hotel West. The family room was very spacious and clean with a lovely view out to the sea and mountains. As this is a small hotel, there is no restaurant on site, but there is a lovely lounge with an honesty bar for you to enjoy a tipple after hours. The town’s swimming pool with its breathtaking sea and mountain views is a very short walk away."

"Nice location and clean & cosy rooms. We got one water facing room, though the weather was a bit of a spoiler, so didn’t get much of a view. We booked 2 rooms for a family of four as the rooms can only accommodate 2 persons per room. It was easy to check-in and check-out and communication from the hosts was clear and proactive throughout. Breakfast was included in the room rate though it is quite basic. Given very limited options in Patreksfjordur, this is a nice one to go for a short stay."
