Kitchen was perfect for cooking, house was tidy and ideal for our large group, sauna was great and we even saw the northern lights so location was good for that in addition to being so close to the airport. Spa is warm but that’s ok when you have the sauna there. Staff were also great and really responsive. 10/10 would recommend."

"We had the most wonderful stay as a family at this lovely little cabin. It’s small and cosy but beautifully warm, with stunning ocean/landscape views. It felt peaceful and secluded even though there are a few cabins nearby (including one attached). The hot tub was fantastic and so easy to fill and use. Having a supermarket just a short drive away made everything very convenient for self catering. We’d absolutely stay again!"

"Fabulous cabins, really enjoyed our stay. It was well stocked with essentials for cooking and washing pods for the washing machine, whole place was spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable and cosy. Hot tub on a clear night was unbelievable, unfortunately didn’t get to see the northern lights. Most definitely need a car, it is quite a distance from a lot of the “big attractions”. Didn’t meet the staff as it was self check in but any communication we had they were perfect."

"The roads into the property were quite poor just to be aware if renting a car. Hot tub had to be filled and drained each time it was used, no big deal just took a little bit of time."

"Wonderful house! We were able to watch the Northern Lights every day — absolutely breathtaking. The surroundings offer stunning views, and the house is very cozy, perfect for both a group of friends and family time. The hot jacuzzi was simply divine. Thank you very much for the warm hospitality!"

"Lovely little cabin. Clean and modern. Small but cute and absolutely fine for just 2 people. Really good access to the airport in the morning but still out in the dark without light pollution so we were very lucky to see the lights. We would have no problem in staying here again"

"It was very cold in the cabin and would have been nice if we had the option of turning the heating up. Also I completely understand the hosts reasons for economic purposes but the hot tub requires you to fill it yourselves when you get there and the note says it can take up to an hour. So when we got there in the evening and it was already dark and the Aurora was out we didn't feel we had time to get the hot tub ready and get in whilst the lights were still out so we didn't use this facility."

"Location, very close to airport after late arrival and long flight! Hot tube/pool outside! After long drive and flight! For first evening was the best idea! Aurora in the first night, we saw at first from the window! Looks great and powerful Close to the see and far away from traffic Right starting point for first day trip to the south part of this region Kitchen fully equipped Sleeping places for 4 people enough Parking outside as well House is placed in nature We stayed two nights and went on next day to golden ring too."

"We loved the private hot tub and the wide views over the landscape. It's located very close to Keflavik International Airport (15 mins drive), supermarket is a 5 min drive away, which is also handy. You can black out the sunlight everywhere (maybe important if you travel in summer)."

"The noise from the heat pumping system runs all night and was noticeable in one of the bedrooms. But it's basically like white noise."

"Location, hot tub was a nice touch. The cabin was cosy and decorated nicely. The chocolate on arrival was a nice gesture. The hosts were attentive to our needs and came to check regarding a query I had the night before to ensure It was resolved and we were happy/satisfied. Netflix being logged in with its own cabin account was great."
