Tiny Cabin Under the Northern Lights

"This is a cute, cozy and well-equipped cabin. The owner decorated it very well, so many details. The kitchen also has everything we need. Very nice stay."

"The cabin was so cozy, private, clean and warm. It was surrounded by great views in the middle of nature. We've been on the go around iceland for some time and so far it has been the only place who had a microwave, hairdryer and a sofa. It was not an effort to turn the sofa into our bed each night. A great "thank you" go's to the owner for her great welcome, her sincere concern when we caught bad weather, her welcome gift and for waving us out. At other places we got an email with the code for the door and that's it, no personal contact nothing. Here we experienced what real Icelandic hospitality looks like. We truly enjoyed our stay."

"What a beautiful little place - the minute we walked in we just felt happiness. It’s so cosy, so well thought out! The shower is amazing, the bed is comfy. Loved the little thought out bits like a bag of lavender in with the bedding."

"Unique accommodation that maximises the space in the cabin. Bjarney was a wonderful host, who provided the best of Communications. Bjarney even text us to let us know that the aurora was active during the night we spent on the farm and we had an hour's magical experience watching the Northen Lights from the 'Tiny Cabin under the Northern Lights'. Couldn't recommend highly enough if you're prepared for something different in your choice of accommodation. A proper Icelandic experience."

"Фантастична локація, близько до океану, далеко від населених пунктів. Чудове місце для сростереження за Авророю. Дуже привітні господарі і песик гарний! Стильний дизайн, повністю все облаштовано."

"Eine so goldige, winzige aber mit unglaublich viel Liebe und Herz eingerichtete Unterkunft hatten wir wirklich noch nie. Die Liebe steckt hier wirklich im Detail; es ist fast alles selber gemacht, gebaut, renoviert, restauriert und anschließend mit ganz viel Geschmack eingerichtet worden. Eine Lichterkette zeigt den Weg zum kleinen Gartenhäuschen, sehr viel größer ist die Unterkunft tatsächlich nicht. Wir kamen in der Dämmerung an und erfreuten uns zunächst der super Lage…..Blick auf das Meer und die Berge, aber direkt an der Straße 1 gelegen, 50 Autominuten nördlich von Reykjavik. In der winzigen Cabin selber fehlte es uns an nichts. Von der Bialetti Kaffeemaschinen zum Nespresso Milchaufschäumer zur JBL Musikbox war an alles gedacht…….Induktionsherdplatten, Kühlschrank, Microwelle…..wirklich alles da. Das Bett ist eine Ausziehcouch, so dass man tagsüber ein Sofa und nachts ein Bett hat. Wie kommen sehr gerne wieder und können diese Unterkunft von ❤️en empfehlen!!!!!"

"Vor der kleine Cabin stand ein Holzfass, bei dem wir uns im ersten Moment auf eine Hot Pool gefreut hatten, der aber zu unserer Zeit (wir waren Mitte November dort) leer war. Das hier ist aber Jammern auf höchstem Niveau und ist auch nicht in unsere Bewertungsnote mit eingeflossen."
