The food is delicious; while it is a bit more expensive, the quality is also superior (I had the best eggs of my entire 5-week trip!). Beyond the comfort, it is a deep dive into Khmer culture. "Sre lodge is a beautiful place to stay just outside Kampot. The properties are huge and tastefully furnished - high-end rustic with comfortable beds. The food is great too. Surrounded by nature, so don't be surprised by an early wake-up call from a neighbouring cockerel or frogs / cicadas late at night. The prices were extremely low so excellent value for money."
