"The whole hostel was quite clean, the rooms and facilities too. Everyone was super quiet in the room. The beds can be hidden by curtains which was great for privacy. And there was enough space to store your luggage. The location was great with shops and restaurants nearby. And the public transport is also not far."

"You either needed a key or a code to get into the room. I get that it's for security reasons, but I forgot the key a few times and didn't the remember the code."

"The beds have curtains. Each bed has its own little light and two outlets. There was an entire make-up room on the women's floor. I've never seen something like that. All in all very clean and comfortable"

"They accomodated me and my friends staying in a room together when requested. We were travelling over Chuseok and they were very kind even when working on a public holiday. The room was very nice and clean. The bunks were very comfortable."

"Well run hostel. Dorm has window to outside and the bed curtain provides full privacy. Central location. Hosts very good communication. Kitchen has cutlery, stove top."

"Roger was a perfect host. If you are looking to hike in Jirisan national park and do not speak Korean this accommodation (and this English speaking host) are ideal for you. If you are getting to Jungsan-ri from either Seoul or Busan Roger will send you a text you need to show to the driver and the bus will stop in front of the Green Valley accommodation. When he drives you all the way up to the entry of the Jirisan National Park it saves you (kilo)metres in distance and in altitude and if you want to do hike up to the summit in one day (without staying at the shelters) this helps a lot."

"Had a wonderful stay here. Perfect location for catching the 7 or 7-1 bus up to Seoraksan national park for hiking. I stayed for two nights and was able to hike to Ulsanbawi rock, Biryong falls and Towangseong falls observatory. The room was large, with a sofa, kettle, vanity and sink area. The bathroom was clean and had great water pressure. The breakfast was okay, I had cereal and eggs on toast, but there were also some cold meats available. A few restaurants nearby, but they closed up fairly early as it was quiet (unfortunately very rainy during my stay but this mean for less busy hikes!). Great value for money."

"The host Mr Yoon is the best host ever. We had lots of fun with him, and he picked us up and dropped plus off at the train station. It was really interesting to talk to him about Korean culture and history. The guesthouse is very clean and comfortable, with lots of space for everyone. Me and my two adult children shared a bunk room and it was a good room for us. You can walk to the DMZ park if you want to go there too, where there are interesting museums and activities. It was nice to go to a part of Korea that was out of the city, and it was a good place where you could meet Korean people and travellers too."
