"Very good accommodation. Spacious room with an outside patio facing the Mekong River, great for a late afternoon drink. Comfortable bed, and strong, quiet air conditioning. Owners and staff are very friendly and efficient, with lots of helpful information."

"The room with balcony was fantastic: spacious, clean, decorated nicely and lots of areas to sit in (not always the case). The free bikes are rustic but fun to visit the villages nearby. The tourist office close by was very informative and we wish we would have gone there earlier as they arrange tours (even a driver to Bolaven Plateau) and boat trips for a great price; they will provide a whatsapp number to get in touch with them when needed. Also there is entertainment at the tourist office Tues/Wed night advertised but when we were there it was Wed/Thurs night."

"We had one meal at the hotel restaurant that was not good when we arrived (we are not sure if it was a one-off - big clump of overcooked noodles) so we moved on to other restaurants in the area which wasn't a problem. We used the free bikes to discover the area and go to other villages and restaurants. Our favorite that we ate all our meals at was Boupha Cafe, superior value for money, offering baked goods, wonderful meals, and coffee the owner roasted herself with quality meals that undercut the prices of other restaurants; she also speaks English and French very well so its easy to order how you want your meal. I added the restaurant name here as I have seen other reviews provide suggestions of this sort."

"One of our favourite places in Laos. It's an excellent guest house in the heart of Champasak and yet peaceful and quiet with wonderful views over the Mekong to Don Daeng island. Bed is clean and so comfortable (difficult to leave in the morning!). Shower good. Food and service is excellent. Owners One and Herbert were friendly and welcoming. Herbert does a great job of sorting onward travel tickets and providing advice. They arranged a tuktuk for us to Wat Phu because it was a bit hot for us to cycle that day."

"We chose a superior double which had a lovely balcony and view. Room was very clean and comfortable. Good sized modern bathroom too. The restaurant is superb. The owners are very helpful indeed. They have free bicycles . They can help with everything- boats, tickets, mopeds, laundry. This is the place to be - it’s the pulse of Champassak! It’s worth the money even though there are cheaper around."
