"Villa beach cottages was everything I was hoping for. The apartment, ours was on 1st floor, beautiful, everything that you need and want, right down to layout of rooms, the view was breathtaking. Right at the edge of the beach. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal, food was delicious. We also cooked a few meal in the apartment, a very good range of utiensils. Staff were very helpful. Everything was beautifully kept. A lot of ground staff, working very hard everyday to keep the place looking beautiful. Would Definitely recommend this place, and would love to go back."

"We were lucky to be booked into the Honeymoon Villa (we have been married for 51 years; no idea how that happened). It is beautifully equipped, spacious and has a wonderful view from the balcony, which we enjoyed every day and especially the evening. The restaurant onsite is wonderful; not a huge selection of food but all very reasonably priced, freshly cooked and delicious. The cooks deserve a medal for producing meals in such a tiny kitchen. They deserve even more credit for doing all the washing up, by hand, in the corner of the kitchen in a tiny sink. Obviously an idea by someone who doesn't do the washing up. Sandal resort is next door but even if I had the money I would not swap the peace, quiet and comfort of Villa Beach Cottages for Sandals"

"The only thing that detracted was the bath towels. Personally I think they should be bath sheets, which are much larger and more suited to a luxury setting. I would have liked to have seen staff with name badges, particularly the wonderful kitchen staff, so that I could speak to them by name."

"It’s on a highway so you hear the cars. There is no proper sidewalk in the area if you want to walk to a shop or to a restaurant for example. It’s just a dirt piece on the side. Very dangerous. Not much options for food, unless you eat at the hotel restaurant which has little options and is on the expensive side and closed at 8. Resorts around all offer only all inclusive, and you cannot eat there. We tried to ask to pay and they refused us. First night we ended up eating KFC. No other option around. Plus Hotel restaurant closed at 8."

"It is a pity that the property is located right next to a busy and noisy main road on the land side, but on the sea facing side it was fine. I had a particular problem accessing WiFi from my phone, but the staff tried hard throughout our stay to find a solution."

"This is a wonderful hotel set in a beautiful location. It did feel like being part of a family as all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel overlooks a pristine section of beach and the sea beyond. We were able to relax, swim in the sea and enjoy using the complimentary kayaks and paddle boards provided. Dinners were excellent and felt home cooked. We only appreciated how good after eating out a few times and realised our hotel was better. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. Everything worked. The managing director, Dr Colin Hunte who likes to meet new guests introduced us to the island. We really were fortunate in our choice of hotel. They were able to arrange anything we wanted - fishing, golf, island trips, pick-ups, shopping etc. Nothing was too much trouble."

"This has nothing to do with the hotel but the road next to it has been widened at the expense of pavement. This made walking to the supermarket a bit of an adventure - but all part of the fun."
