"I booked a room in this hotel as a last minute solution to extend my Kandy stay and I was very surprised to see it wasn’t full! The whole place is tastefully decorated and is very clean and in a great location if you don’t want to be near the pretty congested Kandy traffic. I was able to do an early check in at 7am in the morning before my Knuckles Range hike with the nearby legend Trekking Expeditor (300m away) and the staff was very proactive and helpful to help me figure out my next travel steps. Breakfast was served on the top floor with nice views and some fun nearby monkey entertainment. I really enjoyed my stay!"

"Directly onto the beach where we could swim in the surf & the pool area was really good for when the surf was a little too big for us. In a quieter area, but within easy reach of shops & restaurants. Our sea facing room was very light & airy & the aircon. worked really well. I would recommend these rooms over the garden view rooms as they are a little dark. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Patt, the owner, is also very helpful and is receptive to suggestions from his customers."

"We were a family with two children aged 11 and 12 and stayed in the bungalow, which was perfect as the children could have their own room. We also took part in the activities, the village and waterfall walk and a trek in the Knuckles which were both great with very knowledgable guuides. As I am interested in textile crafts, I had asked if a visit to the Umbara weavers could be arranged and they arranged it for me in conjunction with the Knuckles trek, for which I am very greateful. Staff is very friendly and food was good!"

There is a nice little pool in a little garden when you walk through the hotel and the rooftop-bar is build with love, where you can sit in the evening and have a nice view of the city."
