"The owner and employees were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room had everything we could have asked for including mini bar, digital tv with over 100 channels and an amazing breakfast. Would definitely come back again"

"We stayed at Kutumbaya as a group of 6 girls in our 20s as the first stop of our backpacking trip in Sri Lanka. The hotel was very good value for money with very clean rooms and bathrooms and all of the staff were friendly and attentive. We only stayed one night as we had other plans but would have happily stayed longer! The food was also great and large portion sizes of curry and rice."

"Gamini the manager was fantastic, arranging tours and making sure our stay was pleasant. Kuma our guide was excellent, knowledgeable, and took us to a few places off the usual circuit. Our room overlooked the pool, was comfortable, had plenty of hot water, Aircon and a fridge. There was a good choice for breakfast, and good restaurants in the area. The best but is the pool, much needed in 40°c."

"Clean comfortable room with a spacious bathroom. Having a nice pantry area in the room with a sink and tea/coffee making facilities. There are some snacks for a price if anyone wants a bite. Staff was ready to help. Have some nice restaurants close by."

"Good location, close to the new and old city center, clean room, lovely pool area and a very welcoming host that helps with everything you need. I absolutely recommend booking a full day Wilpattu safari with them and make sure to ask for Mirando (naturalist guide). He will show you so much wildlife that you would not have noticed with only a driver in the National Park. Would stay here again!"
