"Anusha and his partner were super welcoming when we arrived, making us tea and coffee. The accommodation is in a great location, circa 20/30 minutes outside of Kandy depending on traffic. We purposefully chose to be outside of the hustle and bustle of Kandy and were very grateful for the tranquil location when we returned from a day out in Kandy. We had a home cooked dinner both evenings which was delicious, our dietary requirements were well catered for. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with decent AC. The house itself is full of antiques owing to Anusha’s passion for collecting."

"It is a beautiful well kept heritage complex. Well designed and adapted to its new use. With a history to tell. As Sri Lanka’s in general, the staff is extremely welcoming, hospitality at its best. Always with a smile and a “yes” attitude. Food is also very good. Gardens beautiful and you can also learn part of Jaffna history in one of the bunkers. They have two. The other one is an art gallery."

"Location perfect for little adams peak and 9 arches bridge within walking distance. Mr Roti and other restaurants across the road good food. Our host did a cooking class which was fabulous. "We loved this small family-owned hotel! The owner is a kind man, his wife cooks the breakfasts and dinners, which are generous, delicious and very affordable. The price for the whole experience is pretty unbelievable. There is hot water in the shower and a refrigerator. They've created a little paradise with their own hands, there are plants everywhere on the territory. We really enjoyed our interactions with the owner. The hotel is located down a peaceful alley of beautiful homes and rice fields. We loved taking walks there every evening after our time of exploration. We highly recommend this hotel!"
