"I had a wonderful stay at Hostel Skopje. The place is really lovely, the owners are genuinely good people, and the staff are helpful in every way. After what I went through at a hostel called Historia Hostel in the Old Bazaar, I can honestly say that Hostel Skopje made my stay in Skopje a happy one. I would recommend choosing a nice hostel like Hostel Skopje instead of going to places like Historia Hostel just because it is one or two euros cheaper. At Historia Hostel, guests asking for a refund are simply refused, and if you insist, you may even be accused of theft. They have staff who behave inappropriately towards women, which is completely unacceptable. In contrast, Hostel Skopje is truly made for travellers. The owners are kind, always ready to help, and unlike Historia’s staff, they do not stay in the hostel causing trouble. The location is excellentright in the centre of the city. The rooms are clean and pleasant. I highly recommend Hostel Skopje for anyone visiting Skopje."

"We liked everything! This can not be described by words. One must come and see the exceptionally beautiful nature of Mariovo, this village Zovich and the nearby village Staravina. The accomodation offered everything we needed, the host Mitko, his wife and mother were very friendly and helpful, they make extraordinary food in their restaurant, all fresh and of high quality. We will be back again!"
