"Great location. Clean. Great value for money. The staff were very friendly."

"It's not a complaint as it didn't cause a problem, but the only thing to mention was that the reception wasn't open before 10am, so we had to let the cleaning staff know we were checking out and give our keys to them as the reception was closed."

"Love staying at this hotel. Excellent location and very friendly staff.. Been visiting Ohrid for over a decade and this hotel is a place I always return to. Try one of the deluxe rooms and check out the view of the lake in the morning. Makes you wanna stay there forever."

"A lovely villa close to the main walking street with its beautiful shops, cafes and restaurants with Lake Ohrid’s pier at the end and within a few minutes walk to churches, market, banks and mosques, old town and fort. The el fresco breakfast was nice. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The villa has great views over the town and mountains."

"The room had plenty of space and the bathroom worked well. All areas were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. I really liked the location; not convenient for the city centre, but a nice area that shows the charm of Skopje. There is a bus stop right outside that runs twice an hour, which was very easy to use. The owner was polite and accommodating and very helpfully woke up at 6am to call us a taxi for the railway station. Overall, the stay was pleasant. Skopje, in terms of accommodation, seems expensive so this is quite good value."

"Easy spot to reach by car through the upper gate of the old town. Private parking right by the door of Villa Kale. A fabulous room with a balcony and so much light. Views of the lake and the fortress. Comfy bed, sofa and chair. Great to have the kettle and fridge in the room, I could make tea! There's a mini market around the corner. The hotel is on a hill. There are many steps - but the steps make Ohrid what it is - and it's worth it for the views. And of course our host, Ljupco, was great. Friendly, hospitable and kind. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about everything to see and do in Loutro. (The picture is the view from our room)"
