Directly on the sea and just opposite a public rocky beach, Ambassador Hotel Butik is a 5-minute drive from Saint Paul’s Bay. It offers a nice outdoor pool overlooking Xemxija Bay. Each room at the Ambassador is air conditioned and features satellite TV and a balcony, some of which overlook the sea. They all have a private bathroom complete with a hairdryer and toiletries. The rumah tumpangan’s restaurant serves a varied buffet of Malta cuisine and fresh seafood. Breakfast is also buffet style and includes coffee and a selection of sweet food. "One of the things to improve would be the tidiness of the room, there was an insect squashed on the mirror in the room when I came in, and no one ever noticed it even during daily cleaning. When I dropped something under the bed, it wasn't the best experience, it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed there in a long time."

"Too many people smoking in the balconies, the smell was not pleasant. Not many restaurants around. Shadow on the beach in late afternoon. Water on the shower not very strong. No English chanel on TV. TV was very small. Pillow not very fluffy. WiFi was out for 2 days. Don't get back rooms. They are small and the view is for a wall."

"This is a very well appointed property within a couple of minutes walk of the colourful harbour of Marsaxlokk. Everything is clean and very comfortable with all the modern Bosch kitchen appliances you might need. The bedrooms and bathrooms are tastefully furnished. There are lots of excellent fish restaurants around the harbour but if self catering, there is a well stocked SPAR in the town and an excellent Lasco store in nearby Zejtun. Parking is possible in local streets or using the large free car park a few minutes walk away. A great base to explore the rest of the island."
