"The pool was nice and the small gym was very useful. The upper floor rooms with verandas were great spots for relaxing on the chairs provided. The beds were comfortable and both rooms we stayed in had decent showers. The hotel kept power running for most of the time we were there via their own generator when Hurricane Erick knocked out mains power, which was super helpful. Staff were helpful and reassuring throughout the storm and its aftermath."

"I'm glad the generator was there. OTOH it was very loud and was harder to sleep through than the hurricane itself. We weren't able to charge meals/drinks to the room - not sure if this was due to the hurricane or is normal but it meant taking money down to the pool which wasn't ideal for personal items security."

"The layout of the hotel was lovely, super tropical and relaxing. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and made it very easy to ask questions. It was about a 15 minute walk to a strip of shops/cafes/restaurants, but other than that there was only 1 small cafe closer to the hotel which we could get our morning coffee from. If you're happy to walk in the heat for some beaches and food then this hotel is great! Didi cars were easy to order and very quick to pick up. Our room had a very good air-con unit which was much needed in the heat of Puerto Escondido. Definitely make sure to get a room with A/C."

"The property & the staff were incredible I would highly recommend anyone to stay here if visiting Puerto Escondido, Perfectly located to the main beaches and within distance to get a taxi to anywhere! (Which the reception staff will call for you!) The pool area is amazing very relaxing and lots of space to be able to enjoy yourself and take a break from all the activities you may have planned. I would also recommend everyone to try the breakfast at least once for the price and the selection is amazing for a mix of Mexican & some American breakfast foods like pancakes & French toast. we also wanted to give a big shoutout to Carlos and the house keeping team for being amazing throughout our stay."

"Not really anything about the property just be aware when booking that sometimes people can be noisy slamming doors and enjoying a later night so if your a light sleeper maybe some earplugs would be beneficial."

"The front desk staff is attentive, friendly and helpful (particularly Manuel). He really went above and beyond in making our stay as comfortable as possible. Location is great. You can walk or take a quick cab ride to and from most hot spots. After a long day of exploring, this is the perfect place to come to and rest. The beach club is a nice touch for days where you just wish to lounge. The overall cleanliness really seals the deal."

"I did not appreciate the “check in” process for breakfast. Although there were some very nice servers, we felt rushed most days. I also had a staff member accuse me of having had breakfast twice in one day. The approach was all but professional."
