"My one-night stay at this hotel in Mexico City was pleasant and comfortable. The location was fairly convenient for exploring the area, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was impeccably clean and neat, featuring a private bathroom and a TV. A lovely traditional touch was the use of Mexican tiles in the bathroom, adding character and charm to the space."

"Great hotel in a pedestrian only street in the historic centre. Close to historic sites, good restaurants, subway and markets. Past reviews have said they found the room too loud but the street vendors work from about 10 to 7pm and then it quiets down. The double glazing on the window did a good job of minimising day time noise"

"This was our second stay. Overall, it is a well-run, great simple place. Check-in went really well, the room was clean (except for one dead bug in the sheets which I suspect came from the laundry service and not the hotel itself) and it's always the same great location close to everything."

"The central yard echoes through the entire hotel and it can be loud at night. We had a group that showed up at 4 in the morning and it looks like the staff didn't ask them (or was not able to make them) to keep it down. The friendliness of the front office varies depending on who is working at any time. I am glad we were welcome by this sweet lady we met on our first stay."
