"Honestly the rooms were really clean and had a fresh thing about them. The bathroom and shower was really nice too."
"There is a really rude woman who works in reception during the day, we made a booking via the booking.com app and she actually tried to charge us more than what was agreed upon with booking.com...I think it's a way for her to steal money from customers- she needs to be fired asap. Btw she tried charging about R400- yes in Rands more until we argued back and she reduced the price."

"The hotel is very close to the train station and also the central market. The staff was kind and the room was very clean. I saw other travellers complaining the room was small, but I found mine to be a standart size. The double bed was very big and comfortable. The hotel is also a walkable distance from Intercape bus office, so perfect for travellers who continue their journey by bus. Breakfast was tasty and I felt completely safe inside the hotel."

"Modern room, compact but comfy. I was there off peak so the hotel was very quiet - I had the rooftop pool to myself, rather than a buffet breakfast they served whatever you wanted from a menu and on the last day they were kind enough to allow me a late check out. Complimentary bottle of water in room every day was good."

"what an amazing stay!! first things first: all the money we paid for the accomodation goes directly in a social organisation. this on e has a huge impact in the area, amazing!! further our time at humbi was just perfect. Alexia and her team are absolutely amazing! it is the perfect place to relax. The food was also absolutely delicious, all fresh from their garden. Can‘t wait to go back! ❤️"

"The staff, especially the manager Johnny, were outstanding and always ready to help/assist. Even the amicable owner was reachable and would ensure that guests were well taken care of. We also loved having breakfast while admiring the waves and morning sun. Walking on the beach everyday was a must and the sound of waves was very soothing. Although quite basic, Giraffe is a great place to just chill. Hotel also has a speed-boat and can organize the trip to Bazaruto and other islands."

"Dominique the landlord is super kind and accomplished, the room is clean and large. There is a comfortable king bed, kitchenette area with a mini fridge and kettle, a couch, and an attached bathroom! There is an upstairs terrace with a beautiful view, sun beds, a bench, and seating with tables."
