"What a great little gem. I had a very enjoyable stay here. The fill-in manager and manager were both very kind and happy to have a chat and offer any assistance. Everything is very clean and well organised. The rooms and ensuites are basic but have everything you need, and again, are well maintained and clean. The cozy fire in the evenings was a welcome treat. Bus stop to/from Finnsnes is right outside. Highly recommend"
"More of a heads up to anyone travelling via bus - the services don't operate on Saturday and are super limited on Sunday, so do plan accordingly. You will also need to be stocked up on food to cook if you don't want to have to keep taking lengthy detours into the town. That said, the tranquility of being out of the town is the highlight!"
"The property is in a fantastic location, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It provides easy access to various points of interest around Senja and allows for a convenient trip back to the mainland for groceries. The rooms were spacious, and the shared areas were beautifully maintained. The large dining and lounge area, complete with a fireplace, created a cosy and welcoming environment. The kitchens were well-equipped, making it enjoyable to prepare meals alongside other guests and share dining experiences at the spacious communal table."

"Nice and clean place to stay in Senja. The most breath taking views are on the other side of island, but accommodation options are quite expensive over there. This has good price and the place is very quiet. You can also wash loundry here 😊"

"The doors were loud. A drop of grease on hinges would fix this issue. The shower was not good. You can't adjust the heat (luckily it was preadjusted well). You can't take it to your hand. It points to a bad direction (to shower curtain instead of pointing down) and the pressure is not good. It is just fine for a quick shower but not very handy if you want to wash a long hair."

"Almost everything was there to spend few days comfortable (the kettle but was missing but we didn’t miss it too much - found a way to boil the water for hot beverages)."

"We had quite low expectations, but the stay exceeded all of them by far :). We got a bit different rooms from what we’ve seen on the picture, or in our imagination… but they have only 5 special rooms, and all of them have their own story and design. The house is more than 200 years old, it has a long history, and you feel it in the air, in every small detail of the house, all the attention and details of décor. The house has impressive yard (if you are lucky with the weather), you can swim in the sea. The bathrooms and a toilet are shared among all the tenants, but we had no queues or overlapping with our other tenants staying the same night. It was one of the most unique hotels we stayed at, it has a soul! Lovely stay and experience for our family of four."
