"The property was excellently located just a short water taxi from Bocas Town and close to a supermarket. The apartment was clean and very good quality. The common area was great to chill during the day as well! It was overall a brilliant stay and would 100% recommend."

"Riva feels like home. It is perfectly located on the island and you will find beaches, restaurants and more in walking distance. Michel did everything to make us feel comfy and he was always helpful. His breakfast is delicious and we enjoyed everything there."

"Idyllic location on Isla Carenero. Waking up to the sound of the waves outside my window made it so special. Breakfast was first class. Short walk to incredible white sand beaches. Only wish I had stayed longer!"

"Fabulous setting over the water. Host Michele was amazing, wonderful breakfast and exceptionally clean."

"We had a really wonderful stay at Riva. Isla Carenero is really special, with lots of lovely sandy beaches and fun bars/restaurants. The room was very comfortable and the view from the deck was lovely. The breakfast was also delicious every morning. The bed was great! Eduardo was really friendly and gave us so many great recommendations of places to eat and things to see. He also recommended a tour to the Zapatilla islands, which he kindly booked for us. The location of Riva is really great, with water taxis able to pick you up/drop you off directly at Riva’s dock."

"Very few critiques, maybe a few more places to hang clothes would be useful, but the room had everything you needed for a chilled stay."

"Beautiful low key relaxing property, with just a few rooms so never too busy and enough space. Wonderful host who makes a delicious breakfast every day."

"Location is amazing, attention to detail, breakfast is super great food quality, bed is big and comfortable. Good size bathroom and shower. Everything is sparkling clean. This morning we swam from the dock we saw rays, trumpet fish ( blue barracuda) zebra fish, snappers and snorkel) Breakfast was a treat and Michel the owner was always there to ensure everything was top notch. 🤩👏🏻"

"The accommodation is lovely and the garden is beautiful and tranquil. The trek downstairs to the bathroom at night is a bit cumbersome. We slept with open doors and windows - it was cool and quiet. The location is beautiful, it’s just a bit further from El Valle de Anton than is convenient. However, Rai, the amazing host, made every effort to make our stay wonderful - and he did. So, will I recommend Villa Hermosa? Definitely."

This is our go to spot when we do or yearly trip to the Puerto Armuelles area. Just a great spot. "Amazing gem in the middle of the jungle. Lodges are embedded in nature. One morning the howler monkeys were all over the place. We went for a kayak trip amidst the mangroves. Perfect combination for water and nature lovers. The food is top quality. Cari and Ryan support some nature preserving projects. Cari is the Dian Fossey for the Azuero Mantle-Backed howler monkeys, an endemic species that is almost extinct. We also participated in a baby sea turtle release. As we are bird lovers we were thrilled to see 7 toucans in the nearby environment in one of the few panama trees that are left at the pathway to get to the lodge."

"The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The owner and his wife were very accommodating and friendly. Although it is located directly across the beach, it was very quiet and safe. The only negative comment is the internet, which is shared per floor. It was not very strong. We were told by the owner that they are working on getting stronger service."
