"Really calm, ideal holiday home ín rural Raiatea, with a heartfelt welcome from Manu, our host. Happy to chitchat, gives good tour advices. Complete hut, full with all you need (coffee, cocoa, equipped kitchen), all tastefully decorated, amidst a fruit&flower garden. Manu is very knowledgeable ín horticulture and is enthusiastic about replanting authentic fruits& flowers. Sea just accross the perimeter road, 10m. Different kayaks available inhouse, also snorkel gear if wished. Paddle 15mins to opposite islet (motu) within the coral reef and snorkel from there! Utoroa airport 20mins, town is 25. Shop to the north 5km. Have a rental car, and circle the island - to the south see the belvedere point and the nearby gabbro rocks. Do not miss the botanical garden either. One of our best spent island holidays."

"The Fare is private, spacious, beautiful, and well appointed in a traditional architectural style. Surrounded by lush vegetation. It’s an inside-outside setup that truly connects you to nature and the environment (yes, bugs and all but with everything you need to protect yourself). One the highlight of the stay is the wonderful host, Manutea, who shares his passion for the island and his knowledge of Raiatea, and will truly make you feel at home. Like almost all properties in French Polynesia, it sits next to the water edge and next to the main (only) road but traffic is light. You need a car and the host Manutea provided one at a very competitive rate including airport pick-up and drop off at no extra cost. It is a wonderful place to relax, sit on the porch and enjoy a slower pace. Forget your phone, social media or TV. This is not the place for it. The new family member, Bali the cat, will provide you with all the entertaining you need."

L’accueil est chaleureux et authentique, les couchers de soleil face au fare sont spectaculaires 🌅, et l’accès au motu public juste en face en kayak est un vrai plus ! "Superbe bungalow avec de belles petites attentions et décorations. L’accueil est vraiment parfait et tout est vraiment abouti. Manutea, notre hôte, fait preuve de gentillesse et de grande générosité pour que le séjour se déroule dans des conditions idéales. Nous avons pu louer une voiture grâce à lui, emprunter le kayak pour aller sur le motu situé en face, déguster des fruits ou partager sa passion et ses projets. Excellente expérience dans un petit écrin, un bonheur de passer 4 nuits"

"Franchement on est pas loin du palace 5 étoiles ! Un bungalow superbe, très bien équipé et très propre ! En plus décoré magnifiquement avec des fleurs ! Et en plus Manutea est un hôte super. Très attentif, très accueillant et en plus nous enrichissant de ses nombreuses connaissances ! Avec pour ne rien gâcher quelques uns de ses fruits offerts (banane et fruit de la passion) sans parler de ses bananes séchées qui sont une véritable tuerie ! !😁 On en a même acheté tellement elles sont bonnes ! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés ! Un vrai plaisir !"

"Je recommande vivement ce logement chez Manutea. Hôte Hyper gentil et accueillant plein d'attentions (Merci pour les fruits). Le Bungalow est superbe, très récent et de qualité, fonctionnel, avec une magnifique salle de bain. Le cadre avec la belle terrasse dans le jardin fleuri est vraiment agréable. l'accès à la mer et la mise à disposition d'un kayak permet de profiter pleinement de l'océan. Manutea propose aussi une voiture récente et propre. Vraiment parfait en tout point! Logement coup de coeur!"
