The family run 3-star Batory Hostel is situated a short walk from Kraków's Old Town. It offers rooms with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Free private parking is available on-site, subject to availability. The Batory is in a quiet area, even though it is only 1 km from the Main Market. The Wawel Castle is 1.4 km away. "Great location to explore Krakow city centre and also the outlying areas. Also 5 minutes from the train station to access the salt mines etc. We wouldn't hesitate to use again when visiting Poland again. Staff were very helpfull and the facilities were ideal for us."

"The room could have been a little warmer in January (to what we are used to). I wouldn't say it was cold, but you couldn't stay in shorts and T-shirts either. It's also a matter of preference. We can't really complain, it was a very nice stay."

"Lovely hotel in perfect location, close to Old Town and other attractions. Room not so big but enough for us two,spotless clean,working air con,good shower. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast with great selection of goodies inc polish sausage which made my husband happy 😊 delicious bread ! Car park free of charge. I would recommend this hotel,we had good time in Krakow. We would stay again in Hotel Batory without hesitation !"

"Another comfortable stay at the Gold. Great room overlooking the town and tower. Perfect location and the restaurant food is lovely and reasonably priced. If you want to eat out, Rynek42 and Nomo in town are great places, and the Kebab Inn just a few hundred metres up the road is a great takeaway."
