"Location: close to the center of Obidos. If you don't travel from Porto to Lisbon or back or to Nazaré, there is no need to travel to Obidos, other than the cadtle. The nearby castle is nice, but the inner streets and houses are superb! Worth having a detour to see the castle! Staff was nice and friendly. They have their own parking! Brilliant!"
"Breakfast needs an overhaul: while it ticks all the basics, I would've loved some scrambled or poached eggs and more vegetables. And also change the undrinkable coffee- you need a proper espresso machine or the automated coffee maker to be able to use real coffee, not the cheap soluble one used today."

"First, I have to talk about the place: it is perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the historic village where you can park your car and relax. The view of the villa is limited but it is a nice view of the valley. Rooms are cosy. Breakfast is ok... the coffee machine was not my preferred device but the food was nice."

"The location -walking distance to the beach was great. Peaceful atmosphere, very chill. Very well equipped with everything you need. Magnificent views from the room. Friendly staff, although it was off-season so everything was a little slow."
"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Quiet, clean, comfy, friendly, good breakfast that has everything one could think of. Hikers of the fisherman trail should consider the small detour to reach this outstanding place. We hitched there and the very friendly hosts drove us back the next morning (~2km)."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
