"Great place to stay. Room was very clean, the view is spectacular and so is the pool. Christine went out of her way every morning to prepare a nice breakfast for us including home made jams which were extremely delicious. We were expecting a bad road after reading 1 particular review, but the road is asphalted and in a much better condition than European roads so basically there is no reason not to stay there :-) Definitely recommended!"

"Large, clean and modern room with a hairdryer and enough plugs. Parking available. Nice breakfast with home-made yogurt and jams. Internet was satisfactory. The dinner at a (somewhat high) price of 30 Euro per person was good. Good service overall. The owner, Mr. Desprairies, is very professional."

"Alice was a fantastic host and the room and all the facilities were super clean. Breakfast was extremely rich with a variety of fresh and home-made products and absolutely delicious. And so was dinner - with local specialties prepared by Alice with great care! Alice was very flexible in terms of times for breakfast and whether we wanted to have dinner or not. The location in Le Tampon was perfect for hiking as well as beach trips. Because it lies slightly elevated the temperatures at night were lower and less humid than at the coast. It was perfect for sleeping. The bed was also very comfortable. And it was very quiet. We loved our stay at Caloupilé and would recommend it to anyone visiting La Réunion!"
