it’s outdated! needs more activities for the kids.. or indoor playgrounds.. because of the heat and questioning weather they should have more means of transportation inside of the resort and include more varieties in the breakfast. They should have express check in and check out

"The country charm is irresistible. We stayed here first in December and fell in love with this place. When snow covers the ground it looks magical. "Exceptional staff that turn this hotel into an unforgettable getaway. The whole place truly transports you somewhere else. The staff, coming from all over the Caribbean, were incredibly warm and friendly, making our stay feel genuinely special. The owner was fantastic—always present, talking with us, sharing stories, and really bringing them to life. It has been a delightful trip and a wonderful stay. We travelled with kids and it was the perfect set up. There are no real windows (only blinds and mosquito nets), so when the kids got loud, the neighbors could hear us. However room ventilation is really good, as there is a nice breeze at night. The location is also very convenient, well connected to both the north and the south. The food was surprisingly very good for a 4 night stay, breakfast was delicious. The pool and surroundings are wonderful. Would stay here every time I go back to Dominica."

The beach sand was a bit uncomfortable with lots of rocks and twigs.

I didn't realise when I booked it how far from Risor town it is - 19km! The address says Risor and unless you look on a map, you cannot know its not actually in Risor, and I needed to be in Risor, but didn't go there by car so ended paying for very expensive taxis. You have to have a car to stay here.

"Everything. It is in a fantastic location, is immaculately maintained, has a well equipped gym and indoor and outdoor pools and a great layout. The staff cannot do enough to make your stay exceptional."

Nothing, it was as close to being perfect as it is possible to be.

"We upgraded to the deluxe apartments which was totally worth it as these apartments are huge. We enjoyed the dinner especially the fresh barbecue and breakfast The resort is close to the turtle reserve and we went there for the evening walk. We swung by the Turtle reserve earlier in the day and booked in which was worth while as we got on the walk that left on time and therefore didn’t have to wait. Just to mention for people wanting to see turtles: we saw plenty of them swimming around off Bimmah beach later in our holiday"

"I truly loved it! It was the perfect getaway on the island. Feels secluded away from the high rise hotel area. The view is breathtaking. The staff is simply the loveliest group of people. Extremely helpful, kind and hospitable. The path at the front of the hotel is perfect for a sunset or sunrise run/walk. The blend with nature is truly top! I loved it"

"A very nice and clean room. It's newly renovated. It was -8°C outside during our vacation, so we didn't even always turn on the heating because the apartment was so warm. The room has all the necessary kitchen utensils (cutlery, dishes, scissors, a corkscrew) and bathroom essentials (combs, a hairdryer, and even feminine hygiene products). Location is good, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get to ski elevator No.1. The hotel proposes 20% discount at Zjaj. It was the cheapest one. Also the can wax and sharpen the renting board 👍🏻 The apartment complex is connected with spa center Mamababa, so you even don’t need to go outside"

The location is different with booking address. We were trying to find it about 1 hour. You have to put in maps “National restaurant”, the reception is located in the same building, but the left door. The room doesn’t have mountain view, you have the view to the main road and roof from the downstairs restaurant. Since the restaurant is downstairs it was noise some nights Spa complex is a little bit expensive - 5000 dinares per person, the hotel in 200 m propose prise 3000 dinares

"The pool was amazing for my back and joints. The hot water is amazing. Rooms are nice and cosy, the ac was turned on most of the time because it was super cold outside. The staff were very friendly and kind. The location is quiet and the sunset and sunrise view were lovely. There is ample parking as well, that's a huge plus in my book."
