Right at the banks of the Strbske Pleso lake, the Resort Solisko is situated in the High Tatras Mountains, 1351 metres above sea level. "Lady at the reception was lovely, very welcoming and helpful and let us check in about 3h early. The room was clean, spacious, bed comfortable. Balcony was a nice addition. Perfect temperature, windows can be open to get some fresh air. Sone guests were a bit noisy but not for too long and other than that it was peaceful. Water pressure perfect hot water available. We also had food at the restaurant and it was fantastic. Bit pricier than in some restaurants in the town, but absolutely worth it as it was delicious. I had food allergies and lady serving us was extremely helpful and kitchen staff was accomodating. Location could not be better, amazing views of the lake, plenty seating outside and just so comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was also great, so much choice and everything was tasty. Also plenty parking spaces. The only thing I would say is that shower head was placed a bit low so had to hold it to have a shower. But no deal breaker. Will be coming back again!"

"We did not stay in the main hotel. We stayed at the Villa, which is on the lake. I have no review for the hotel, but the villa is amazing and if you can find a room there, it really wears the money."

"The hotel is located in a magical mountain setting by an incredibly beautiful lake. The room was very cozy and had all the amenities needed for a few days' stay. Pets are allowed, which was a big plus for us. The breakfasts were delicious, served buffet style. The reception staff were very polite and happy to help with any inquiries."
"We were a bit disappointed with the dinner service in the same restaurant, as the quality of service did not meet our expectations. Additionally, there was a strange incident with the cleaning staff. One of the cleaners expressed annoyance upon seeing the cat's litter box in the bathroom, exclaiming, "Oh, these cats...". Considering we paid an extra 30 euros per day for having our pet with us, it was unprofessional for the hotel staff to show such dissatisfaction."
