"Amazing place to stay in Sine Saloum. Peaceful and quiet, far from everything, a real oasis in Senegal! The simple huts are comfortable, sun-beds and hammocks are available, the place has a great kitchen, lee also oved the local basil tea. Prices of food and drinks are very good, prices of drinks are similar to other places in Senegal, food is slightly more expensive but delicious."

"As written in some other reviews, you need to be mindful of what is included in the price of the stay. We were on a rather small budget so we ordered services from other sources - we got the horse cart on the arrival (2000CFA vs 5000CFA/cart from the lodge) and boat for the trip to the mangroves we booked through an agency in Dangane (25.000CFA per pax vs.40.000 CFA offered by the lodge). There is no hot shower, you get a bucket of hot water. Wi-Fi works very badly. But we didn’t mind any of this to be honest, we loved the place very much."

"J'ai adoré la hutte avec les pieds dans l'eau. On se réveille face à la mer et on admire la grandeur du paysage. Une expérience incroyable. De plus, le personnel était aux petits soins pour nous et répondais à nos demandes. On est isolés de tout et il fait très calme, c'était la déconnexion totale. On mange sur le ponton sur l'eau, c'était tellement agréable. Il y avait un ventilateur dans la chambre. Attention, paiement uniquement en cash."

"Il n'y avait pas vraiment d'eau chaude, mais surtout il n'y avait pas de pression dans l'eau. Il fallait demander aux employés pour ravoir de la pression, c'était pas très confortable. De plus, on nous a proposé d'emprunter des kayaks sans préciser qu'ils étaient payants (5000 FCFA la location). Pour le wifi, c'était simplement le partage de connexion du téléphone d'Assaitou dans la salle à manger. La lumière ne marchait pas dans notre chambre, juste dans la salle de bain."
