"The proprietors are awesome! They provided me with great food, extra coffee, enjoyable conversation, and even a tour of the adjacent farm. I checked into a hotel, but checked out of a home stay."

"The hotel is directly adjacent to the highway, has lots of deferred maintenance, and has an outside dining area near cars. The entrance/exit is a powered gate, so you need to have someone help you with that."

"The family that owns the hotel was incredibly nice and welcoming. The staff was all great as well. Very helpful. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Location was very convenient right off the highway"

"Some reviews mention noise because of the location right off the highways. It's true you can hear the cars with the windows open but when we closed the windows and turned on the a/c we didn't hear it anymore."

"Beautiful sandy beachfront Service rendered by staff excellent"

"The hotel is right next to a small beach, mostly sand but some rocks at one end. Rock free sand is nice, waves rolling volcanic rocks against ones feet not so much. Very peaceful during the week, weekends may be different. Rooms are bright and nicely decorated. It's great to sleep with open window to the sound of ocean, no mosquitos arrived to 3rd floor to spoil that but may depend on season. There is restaurant that was not open at the time of visit, so i took advantage and sat there with a perfect ocean view. Numerous seafood restaurants nearby, some supermarkets. Also possible to walk to town for market and pupusas. Kind staff. Resident cat, likes to mind his/her own business. Rooms with balcony might be even better."
