Pingviman Hotel

"We had a wonderful week at Pingviman Hotel. The staff were absolutely brilliant, plenty of people available to help round the hotel at all times. The pool and room was the highlight, it's a tranquil oasis which is lovely to return to when you need a break from the city! The room was really spacious and air con worked very well. Balcony also super spacious. The breakfast was also a great addition to the stay, with a large selection, there was something for everyone."

"The water didn't get warm enough in the shower on a morning which was a little uncomfortable and we also couldn't use the hot tub in our room as the water couldn't get hot enough. If you removed the hot tub altogether from the room then you wouldn't have the awkward placement of the toilet directly in front of the shower."

"Amazing rooms, location and staff. The breakfast was copious and served buffet-style. When we had a noise issue, the staff was fast to find a solution, moving my family of four in 2 separate rooms for one night, before finding us a replacement room. Nice touch to have a jacuzzi bathtub in the rooms."

"Some door mechanism could be updated to be more modern (key cards instead of locks) but this definitely would not impact my rating for this excellent establishment."

"Super spacious and comfortable beds, great location - comfortable walking distance to lots of main attractions. The staff were wonderful. We used the laundry service which was incredibly quick and efficient. Great cocktail prices for the pool bar!"

"Breakfast could be slightly better quality - though it was still above average. The pool was a little chilly as only gets sun for half the day. But is still a glorious area to relax."

"The location so easy to get to the nearby Park which is beautiful. Close to shops & restaurants. Beautiful cool swimming pool and gorgeous rooms. Comfortable bed, great air con. Friendly staff."

"Personally I would have loved to have a swim before breakfast but the pool doesn't open until 9am. I think opening at 7am would be great The breakfast was only ok"

"When looking for hotels in Chiang Mai, I wanted to find something that felt a bit Thai. I thought this fitted the brief perfectly, and I wasn't disappointed when I arrived. It was a bit more of an experience staying there than a lot of the other hotels I looked at. When in Chiang Mai, we walked by many of the hotels in town, and I was pleased with our choice."

"This is beautiful hotel with amazing staff who are very welcoming. The breakfast was lovely and had everything you need and the swimming pool was great. We were a family of 4 and stayed in the presendential suite which worked really well for us. Would certainly stay again."

"Beautiful room, very comfortable beds, jacuzzi bath, gorgeous, ornate wooden bedroom furniture. Staff were also AMAZING and we're happy to help/assist us with any queries or requests - GREAT STAFF!!! Also fantastic was the food. We really enjoyed the coi carp and the nightly hunt for the tiny frogs at the front of the Hotel. Hotel is an excellent location for parks and markets"

"Struggled to sleep most nights due to constant door slamming from Guests going out for a smoke ALL through the night - which was relentless and EVERY NIGHT (hotel is non smoking in rooms) which is understandable due to beautiful, ornate, wooden furniture and floors"
