"Great quiet location with a restaurant and bar all day. Two pools at the resort. The hilltop pool was very quiet and we had it all to ourselves for our first full day. We used the laundry service which was great - returned the same day. There is a small supermarket and ATM roadside between the two parts of the resort. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Reception can help arrange taxis - be aware it would be best to sort one ahead of arriving by boat as they can be hard to find on arrival at the pier! The food is lovely in the restaurant on site. We would recommend this resort to others!"

"Be aware as others have said that the sea is only really swimmable at high tide, and the beach pictured is up behind the seawall - though still a great view and setting! We stayed in two different rooms from how we booked it. One beach side and one hilltop. The beachside room didn't appear to have hot water for the shower but the newer hillside room did."

"Staff at the bar weren't always polite. Little bit lazy. Not that inviting. But if you speak to them they are friendly. But I think the girls at the bar are best friends. Maybe not that professional for working at a hotel. Little advice: welcome people at the breakfast and show them the way. Good luck!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Thiwson Beach Resort during our time on Koh Yao Yao. We loved the rustic, rural feel of the hotel rooms, which made the experience feel authentic and relaxing, while still enjoying the nicer facilities — especially the pool overlooking the beach, which was absolutely beautiful. The staff were lovely throughout our stay, always friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect place to truly disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and we would return again in a heartbeat."

"The place was charming and rustic, and we really appreciated having both a mosquito net and air conditioning. We hired mopeds from a restaurant up the road called Chabba — only 250 per day — and the food there was absolutely amazing. Laem Had Beach is stunning and just a 10-minute ride away."

"The beach directly in front of the hotel isn’t ideal for swimming, as the tide goes out in the afternoon, but it’s still very beautiful — especially in the morning while having breakfast."

"Nice place with their own beach. Nice view at bungalow and from the beach. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices. Shower and toilet was "outside" and thats cool. Restaurant menu was also good - but not so tasty like you get from other places."

"We saw outside spider, black and yellow stripes. That was very scary because the spider was front on the restaurant (there were you put you shoes off, so we dont wear there shoes). But thats not this place fault- this like jungle, so u need to prepare for that"
