"Depending on your room no. You may have 2 windows with lots of light or dark room with I small windows facing another property. Be nice to have somewhere for the bag off the ground.. there's ample space for it."

"When we came 30 min late because of tour delay on the day of check out -all our thing were already kicked out of the room and left in lobby . Luckily we managed to pack early morning, other wise probably will be collecting our stuff all around the place . Felt very disrespectful after this kind of movement of the staff there Also we got free update of our room , so it had 3 bottles of water , for two of us. So we thought we could use it. But after our check out one of the staff members started to demand us to return the bottles or to pay 5$ Also felt very weird and uncomfortable"

"Everything is perfect at Monoceros. The owners, their staff, the hotel. It is very relaxing. The garden is beautiful and luxurious. The pool area is an invitation to chill. The bungallows are comfortable well furnished and welcoming. You feel good the moment you pass the door. The bed in room 5 was super comfortable. You will get good Thai food at the restaurant. Price is very reasonable for a hotel restaurant. The breakfast is top! It’s rare to put a 10 but this place deserve it!"

"Hi, we stayed at the mook lamai last week for 5 days in one of the villas and 1 day in the pool villa (or as the staff said 'the big one'). Its was excellent. It is one of the resorts that is inland but that is no problem as you can easily walk to most places. Also the resort will take you places in their litte 3 wheel taxi. The resort is clean and lovely with interedting fruit trees and plants. You feel there is loads of space. Pool is big and not busy. They have the resturant where you get breakfast on site and the pizza place, the canopy, right across the road. Both were cheap, fresh and friendly. There were 2 staff in particular that were there a lot of the time, Pat and Tid. They were so helpful and genuine. They organised stuff, were chatty. Even showing us round the garden and plants. This was an excellent place to stay. It was a bit more expencive than most others. But it was really worth it. Oh breakfast was to order and was great. Thank you."
