"We spent 4 lovely days at Dar Aziz VIP guest house and it was one of the best places we have stayed in Tunisia. Aziz warmly welcomed us and even let us check in early. The house is conveniently located in the Medina next to the Archeological museum with a fantastic rooftop view. The room was exactly as in the pictures, very clean and with a great hot shower. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning and Aziz was very helpful with whatever we needed. This place is good value for money We would definitely recommend it for anyone staying in Sousse!"

"Great!! Really recommend it, it was very pleasant and easy to check in. Location is great, you never really get lost since it is in the corner of the medina, just follow the city wall 😄 The breakfast varies depending on the day but always very filling and good. We could leave the bags almost all day after the check-out (for free of course). You also have a terrace where you can rest and get a bit of sun. Thank you so much! Aychek!"

"The building and the rooms are really beautiful, the staff were helpful (we were able to do early check in, leave our bags after checkout for a day trip), the breakfast was basic but lovely, there is a terrace at the top where we could chill and observe the nice view. It was cool in the room even without turning on the AC."

As it’s a more traditional stay there are a few small things to note (didn’t bother us but might be important for someone): the room was a bit dark and the lighting seemed weak, there is no WiFi or signal in the room (thick walls), beds are two mattresses which may move apart."

"Well situated for exploring the medina and around, but nice and quiet at the same time. We had a room at the top of the building with a cute window which overhangs the alleyway. The design is good and the room clean and comfortable. The views from the roof terrace are great. Breakfast is served in the pretty courtyard and is quite tasty. The staff are friendly, helpful and we were able to leave our bags in the reception area on check out day which was very useful."

"It was a bit tricky to find as there were 3 Dar Baaziz guest houses and the directions were confusing. Now this one, which we booked as Dar Baaziz VIP, has changed name to Aziz Medina Stays which should sort out some of the confusion, though on Google Maps it is still the old name! Mohammed Aziz, the manager, is very good and will sort you out!"

"Everything. The authenticity, the decoration, the ambience, the location at the highest part os Sousse's Medina. They have a rooftop terrace with unbelievable views to the medina and the sea. The staff, and especially Mohamed, has been great and really helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Great stay."
