Set on the slope of Naval Hill, Franklin View Guesthouse offers panoramic views over Waverley suburb. Overlooking the landscape are a splash pool, lounge area with fireplace, and breakfast room with wooden ceiling and chandeliers. Each modern, air-conditioned room features a 32” flat-screen satellite TV, fridge and private bathroom with free toiletries. Some have exposed brick walls and a free-standing bath, and most have a balcony with Waverley views. Breakfast is served daily. Within a 15-minute drive there are several central Bloemfontein restaurants. Set over 3 levels, Franklin View provides free Wi-Fi throughout. Less than 5 km away are the Free State Stadium and Loch Logan Waterfront Centre, the largest shopping centre in central Africa. Bloemfontein Train Station is a 10-minute drive from Guesthouse Franklin View and Bloemfontein International Airport is 15 minutes by car. There is free parking on site.

We were staying there to attend a conference in Bloemfontein, and it was ideally located in one of the best residential areas, with unusual views over the City. The service was excellent, including their help with last-minute printing of conference presentations and a steady supply of good coffee throughout the day! "A spacious comfortable room, with bar fridge, TV, sofa, bath and shower ensuite, multiple cupboards, ironing board, iron, and coffee/tea making facilities. A welcome air conditioner! Filtered water in the fridge. A brilliant view over the hills and parts of Bloemfontein in a quiet setting. Good security and on-site parking. Plenty of seating. Good communication with the hosts prior to the stay, and a tasty breakfast. Location is near good restaurants suggested by the hosts. Good value for money."
"An incredibly steep and bendy driveway, probably to enable the view. It has been fitted with a traffic light, which helps remove the lack of visibility around the bend. Not a suitable place for anyone who is infirm or disabled due to several flights of stairs. For our taste, the bed was quite hard."

"Kaijaiki is a true gem! I have stood in unit 4 which was super spaciouse, had a lovely well equipped kitchenett and a beautiful, tranquil view onto the courtyard. The next door coffee-store where breakfast is served is so cozy and food is deliciouse. Manager and staff go over and above to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend it."

The room is beautiful, spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, (the bathroom is amazing!) The property is located on a farm, with lovely orchards and a beautiful garden, which we really enjoyed. It’s about 15 minutes from MQP airport; since we planned to leave very early, the host kindly packed our breakfast so we could enjoy it in our room before departing."
