"Location was fabulous, just down the road from the Presidential Palace although the road is a little unkempt. An easy walk into the town for restaurants and the main market centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great outside relaxing bar / restaurant."

Taxis do not like to drive to the Hotel as the road is not great and has some big ruts at the town end, leaving you with the choice of a short walk or paying more. It's about a 400 yard walk and not hard or dangerous.

Air con didn’t reach the bedroom and could hear the traffic at night.

"It is a self-contained island of greenery (nice big garden) and quiet, with lots of things for a 5-person family to do and a lovely atmosphere. The team running the Villa were super friendly and supportive - our daughter needs to eat gluten free food and they helped us by ensuring fresh gluten free bread every day in the morning for her and once even baked a special cake. Our energetic two year old could run in the garden, play with the toys from the toy collection and enjoy the sandbox, which kept him busy and us as relaxed as possible... The fully equipped kitchen gave us the freedom to cook as we needed to. And the option to use the bicycles with a baby seat was just great. Would gladly go back for another stay."

"Good location. A few minutes walk to the public beach, bus stops, next to a supermarket. Parking available. Night life nearby. A few restaurants reachable on foot. The staff was very nice and polite. Had a little issue with the aircon and the manager was quick to sort it out. Room was cleaned and towels changed daily."

The glass door in the bathroom rubs against the floor and makes a loud noise. Lots of dried leaves in the pool. The internet is too slow.

"The staff are really nice and friendly. The rooms are big, everything is there. Bonus points for the slippers! Also, the breakfast was so elaborate and nice. They would serve it in your room, and I think 4 people can finish it. The location is excellent too. 5 minutes walk to the bus stop, 5 mins walk to the nearest grocery store, and less than 10 mins walk to the lake."

There was an ongoing road repairs just steps away from the property, so expect some noise during the day. We pretty much were out during those times so it didn’t bother us.

"The aparthotel does not have a reception, but you are greeted by a person who hands you an envelope with instructions for accessing the building and a card for the studio. The room corresponds to the description - for a solo traveler it is a perfect choice. For a couple it will be suitable for a short stay. The kitchenette is minimalist, equipped with only the most necessary, but for two or three days it is OK. Very clean. The bed is comfortable. The heating can be adjusted. Wi-Fi is strong. The location is great - within walking distance of the city's attractions. Public transport (bus, train, tram) in the city and the entire Luxembourg is free."

I don't think it's a big minus, but I'll mention it anyway. There is no drying rack for dishes, instead they use a device (something like a flexible grid) that is placed above the sink. For me it was not very practical. There is a dishwasher, but for one cup and one plate it is not advisable to run it. Moreover, only one capsule is provided. Additional ones are available for a fee.

"The room was spacious, organized, and clean. In addition, the sun came shining in throughout the morning. We had access to many amenities (including kitchenette!). The location is in a quiet town, where everyone is friendly. We needed to stay a second night, and they happily extended our stay."

We stayed during the heatwave which I suppose is pretty rare. There’s no air conditioning but it was naturally quite cool in the apartment!

"Great location at the side of the runway. A short walk from Maho Beach and D’s bar which has an amazing viewing platform for the planes. Eric the accommodation manager was great and went the extra mile to ensure I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

Within 15 minutes of walking you can get directly to the city center and the harbour. The town park is within a 5 minute walk. Marna is a very friendly and humorous person as well. "It is located in Dalian's CBD so everything is very close. It is around 500m to the subway, and around 2 km to the seaside with many attractions. The hotel looks good and feels good, it used to be a top hotel a few years back, but it's getting a bit older, however, still has its charm. You won't miss anything, you can conveniently pay by Visa/Mastercard at the reception and do not forget about the 400 RMB deposit."

- Sadly the noise isolation is very bad in the room and you can hear people in the hallway like they are next to you.
