"The man and lady at the front desk were great - so friendly and respectful. I loved the vibe; it was European cottage style (best way I can think to describe it) and cozy. There's a lovely gazebo with comfy chairs in the back. The top floor room doors are in the back that you drive up to! It's really cool. It's really clean. Stuff is old, but who cares? Great value for your money. I honestly have no idea why this would have a low rating. Seriously, what do people expectl. There are nice taxidermy animals in the lobby and they sell snacks and drinks there."

"My bedroom was in the basement, it was dark, and there was a cold air-con unit in the ceiling which i could not adjust. The lamp at the bedside was broken. Downstairs lounge area was very dark, and had a small kitchenette attached. Place was convenient for US border, but far from downtown Vancouver."
