Paradox Vancouver

"Great location, a couple blocks from Coal Harbour, lots of restaurants in the area. The pool and hot tub were great, especially the open fire pits on the patio. The room was one of the largest we've stayed in- spacious, bright, and spotless, including a fridge and Nespresso maker. The best part was the service- every staff greeted us by name and were always so helpful! We were even able to check in really early, which was appreciated after a VERY early flight!"

"The paradox is an absolute amazing hotel. We requested a higher floor room amd found ourselves on the 17th floor. The bed was extremely comfy with tones of pillows, the show was great with the rain shower head, the bath tub was the chefs kiss in relaxing. All the staff we spoke with her absolutely amazing. Delicious food at the Karma Lounge, valet parking and to top it all off- there was so much to see and do all with in a 10 minute walk in either direction. Cannot wait to stay here again."

"The room was superb. Clean, really comfortable and nicely furnished. The location is great - easy walking distance to things and also to the skytrain."

"They have a lovely bar but they have a DJ every day from 11am. It’s impossible to have any kind of conversation and mostly there were only a few people in there. Given that the hotel was full they are obviously driving guests elsewhere. They actually apologise at the front desk and suggest the Hyatt across the road for a quieter alternative. The other thing is that they closed the pool / spa for a whole day for a private event and booked the best part of the bar for a private party - leaving guests to use the edges. My son came to join us for a drink and he was rudely told to sit at the edge tables and wait rather than walk in to find us. When did it become acceptable for hotels to advertise facilities and then remove them because someone hires them!!"
