We loved everything

"Pool, remoteness, local village and farmers tending the land in a traditional way. The apartment was modern. The drive in was an experience, around 8km on gravel road."

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

La ville d'Imouzzer Kanddar est très agréable avec un grand parc et un très bon marché. Le logement est confortable avec grande cuisine, grand salon, deux salles de bain et de belles chambres. Un garage est également disponible pour garer la voiture très pratique. Vous avez le wifi et une machine à laver(séchage compris) qui est pour ma part un vrai plus en voyage. Khalid le gardien est également à votre écoute si vous avez besoin. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet endroit calme et reposant face à la forêt. Je recommande"

"Die Wohnung hat einen schöne Einrichtung und viel Potenzial! Der Pool in der anderen Anlage, den man benutzen darf, ist wunderbar."

Der Lärm nachts von der Straße ist extrem. Die Matratze ist eine Katastrophe. Terrassen Möbel fehlen. Extrem hellhörig auch zu der Wohnung nebenan. Die Pfanne müsste dringend ersetzt werden.

"Gmundnerberghaus is a hidden gem. The cottage is incredibly tidy, cozy, and well-maintained. The views of the green hills surrounding the property are absolutely stunning and provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. A major plus: the actual location and atmosphere are even better than the pictures suggest! The photos on the website are modest compared to the wonderful reality. Highly recommended for a peaceful and beautiful escape."

"Loved the cabin! So calm and relaxing. The cabin itself was so rustic, everything you need is there. The beds were so nice and comfortable, they had working netflix so on the cold rainy nights you can simply cuddle and watch some TV. The breakfast was amazing! Lovely lady gave it to us to our cabin in the morning and it was wrapped so nicely in a proper picnic basket! And the range was amazing, even better than hotel buffets. The staff were friendly! The area is very quiet with a short drive to many hiking spots but that's what we were looking for. Loved every second. Thanks again!"

I didn't book a longer stay

"Very beautiful place to stay in nature. It has most things one need for a short stay. It’s very good for its price. Also clean nice towels and sheets available."

There is no shampo and hand wash there.

"This is a place where everything works -- gas, electric, water. Enough pots and pans for everyone. We enjoyed the stay. The place was clean, sheets were clean, towels and soap present, and there was working cleaning tools to keep the place clean. The host had thought of everything. The WiFi was superb. And the park outside is well-maintained and enjoyable."

A work desk was missed. Indoor parking not available, but the are is quite safe and secure.

How close the cabins are to each other… Had a big family next to us that was loud out on their deck.

* very poorly equipped kitchen * it was stated that basic hygiene products would be provided - we were only given hand soap * tiny bin for an 8 people property * pillows were very bad * overall a bit run down and could need some renovation (tile in bathroom had fallen off before we even checked in / lamp over dining room table partially broken)

Je kunt niet zo goed de ramen lekker openzetten ivm muggen en vliegen. Een hor zou een oplossing kunnen zijn.

Guests not respecting the quiet hours

"Nice place up in the Mountains oft pokhara. Clear view on the lake with a friendly community and simple but comfortable huts to stay and relax. The yoga shala is a beautiful place for yoga practice to reload and experience the serene surroundings. Recommended"

"The view was really good with the little terrace in front of the room, I like to have a view. AC was powerful. It was also very very quiet. No noise except the roosters."

Others need to be mindful it's down a steep hill from the main street then up a steep unlit track - bring a flashlight not just phone light. Tricycles pick up at the bottom of the hill.
