"Location on the beach is amazing, the buffets had a great choice of food. Great little gym. Staff were lovely. So many things to name that stood out and why this hotel is of a high standad and one the best i have been too"

"Only thing would i would say the hotel was a little rough around the edges. Room decor had lot of chips and scuffs. Tennis courts need big upgrade. This hotel has the potential to be a real 5 star hotel just needs a revamp in rooms and halways"

"The two bed apartment was modern, spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. I recommend using the Uber app to call a taxi into the town, only €4 on the app but to have one called at reception it is €10. Beautiful walk down onto an amazing beach."

"Every thing the place was beautiful , views stunning, the area is easy to get around and then local people were pleasant and helpful. the was a large selections for most of the restaurants and the atmosphere was excellent. We will return shortly"

"We enjoyed all aspects of the whole area. What is not to like even the people who run the beach areas for sunbathing. The walk area is a great asset and the views are to dead for, we enjoyed the whole experience"

"The resort is well situated to take advantage of what Alvor has to offer, being a 15 minute walk into the town centre. This was why we chose it in the first place. Once we had arrived, we checked out the resort, which has two restaurants, two bars, and two identical swimming pools, one on either side if the main road. The reception clerk was very friendly, as were all the staff we interacted with. Our apartment had a bedroom, a kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven, hob and kettle, a living room with a dining table big enough for 4. Besides the double bed, there was also the option of a bed-settee, and a further single bed, meaning the apartment could easily accommodate four people."

"The whole resort would be a challenge for anyone who struggles to climb steps. There are steps to just about everywhere, and no way of making the place wheelchair-friendly. Its design is set firmly in the 1960's. The resort is split in two by the main road, and there is a footbridge over the road connecting the two. The climb up to the footbridge from the reception area would be a challenge to someone who is unfit. Parking could easily become a problem in the busy season, as it was a challenge even at the end of October. The apartment was perfectly ok, but spartan, and the cutlery/crockery was very basic. The bed has the hardest mattress I have ever experienced."

"Friendly staff and a quiet place. Pet friendly and free parking. Spacious, clean and well equipped apartment. Gardens well maintained and cared. Pool area very clean and maintained."

"We stayed in late November, the house is a bit chilly in winter. We have to use the A/C to keep it confortable. I guess the rest of the year this is not an issue."
