"Although it was dog friendly this only allowed access to & from room. Understandably not allowed in restaurant or bar but not welcome in foyer seating area either so very restricted."

"As it was out of season we had the whole place to ourselves. But we would equally have enjoyed it if other families were sharing the facilities. Rained our whole time spent there but we made use of the BBQ area as it was still warm with the fire. Food left us every morning was lovely and plentiful. Lady who came daily was lovely. We particularly love the location for its peace and tranquility but also very near our family members who live in the area."

"location was perfect and staff were more than happy to give to you directions and any help that you may need and they all spoke very good english, the hotel was just a little out of the main shopping area of Castelo Branco but this was only a 10 min walk away. Breakfast was mostly a cold affair - a great choice of rolls, croissants and cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts. cereal and scrambled eggs being the only hot option and pancakes, cold meats and cheese. Our room was spacious with a good size bathroom and air conditioning. It was cleaned daily and left spotless."
