"This was our second visit, as we loved it so much the first time. Lovely people, spotless room with convenient kitchen, and secure parking for our motorbike. Excellent value for money!"

"Cleanliness, really comfy bed, kitchenette in room, secure place to park motorbike, beautiful flowers and colourful murals, good view of the sea, homemade jam at breakfast, friendly hosts, good value for money."

"Not central and didn't feel too comfortable to walk around the area, but Ubers generally available and cheap."

"It was a wonderful experience at the Hostal Miramar: Mario was very welcoming, attentive, social, helpful and very concerned about my well-being (the breakfasts were delicious by the way, with homemade products such as jam). The room was spacious, very clean and bright. I had everything I needed, and even more (books about Valparaíso, Street Art, etc.). I would recommend it 100% and I won't hesitate to come back for new adventures!"

"Excellent place and impeccable hospitality, with a personal touch Neat and very clean; beautifully and tastefully decorated Nice home-cooked complimentary breakfast Fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean and part of Valparaiso city Calm and quiet neighbourhood with spacious and super clean streets Buses to the city centre were available at the doorstep The host, Don Mario (and his wife), radiated warmth and welcome from the moment we arrived. His gesture was as if we were his personal guests. While we were leaving, he came to see us off and gave a bunch of tasty apricots, most likely from his own garden, as a parting gift; such a nice gesture :)"

"What a wonderful place! Super comfortable rooms and beds. A beautiful courtyard garden, excellent breakfasts and friendly hosts. It's a good location for the town centre with restaurants and cafes and excellent museum. Also easy to reach nearby places by bus and wineries. We could use the kitchen and patio to prepare our own meals too, and relax. Highly recommend"

"Good location, walking distance from most interesting things. Friendly staff. They didn't really speak English, but we managed to understand each other most of the time. With a bit more attention to details, this could be a much better place though."

"Hostal La Muelle is one of the cleanest hostals I have stayed in and was great value for money.My room was reasonably large and serviced daily.Sleep quality was excellent.The staff were friendly and helpful and in this regard I want to thank Maria-who does a fantastic job keeping the place clean and smelling fresh-and Nella....Breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect-a short distance from the main plaza.....Hostal La Muelle is a lovely place....10 out of 10."

"The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a few days including the kitchen. The location is good, only a quiet street, but close to the water, to the main square, and to the bus station. Wifi was good, there is a heater in every room, although we didn't need them. The host is great, replies quickly to messages, has information about the city laid out, and is honest about the fees and taxes, which we have had problems with in other parts if Chile."

"The location on the hill with an amazing overlooking of Punta de Lobos beach. The size and the view from of the rooms. The variety and quality of the breakfast and the delicious food on the in house restaurant, as on the nearby feet on the beach La Orillera. The staff is very young but proactive, matching with the surf environment of the property. A plus for me was the external hot tubs water heated by fire wood. Great after a (cold) bath on the beach."
