"When we stayed there in February 2026, the staff consisted largely of young people, some of them volunteers. This can create a warm and personal atmosphere, which many guests may appreciate. At the same time, it can mean that the overall service and hospitality level varies and may not always meet expectations at a price point of USD 85 for a double room. We ended up finding another place just one block away where we personally felt more comfortable and happier with the overall experience."

"The manager isn't very friendly or accommodating. For what they charge the place needs renovation. On the last morning of my stay the power in the hostel went out. It's also the only place on Booking.com where my bank initially blocked payment. Weird this."
