"- I booked very short notice, and it worked out - Very nice room in the big house of a very kind lady who speaks perfect English (total of 2 rooms available) - Bathroom and toilet is shared by both rooms, however was absolutely impeccably clean, I'd say the cleanest I've seen during my 3 week stay on Cabo Verde - Room had everything I needed for a good night - Less than 10 minutes by car from the airport - Correct GPS location is: 16.754054,-22.930076 (You can enter it like this into Google Maps)"

"I was traveling by myself and looked for a stay which would feel comfortable and safe. I am happy I stayed here. The woman is very kind and the (bath)rooms were very clean. The woman also made breakfast every morning. I would definitely recommend!"

"The property was clean and easy to reach thanks to the suggestions of Isabel, she is a wonderful host! We had such a nice time with her and we felt at home. I really recommend this place if you want to learn a bit more about local people and their story. It felt like being at home with a relative and the breakfast is prepared by her everyday. Lovely in any way possible. Will come back for sure :)"

"The only thing I can recommend is to rent a scooter or car if you plan to stay in the area for longer than a night, as it’s easier to reach the touristy places like shark bay, the salinas or Palmeira autonomously."

"Nice place to stay, owner lady was very kind and made cute breakfast and gave me some information about the buses. Room was very clean and had big balcony. A few grocery shops are near the rooming house, bus station with the buses to Santa Maria are near the petrol station."

"The accommodation is on the eastern edge of Espargos, a 400 CV Escudo trip from the airport. The room was large, beds comfortable, and whilst there was no A/C, the room was cool enough for good sleep. The breakfast consisted of coffee and two slices of toast with two fried eggs. The owner was helpful and boiled water for me on two occasions for coffee. Payment must be made in local currency though there are ATMs in the town and currency exchange booth at the airport."

"Stayed here for only one night to catch my flight from Sal the next day. Bey is a lovely hostess and it was no problem I arrived late. She welcomed me and showed me a big chamber with a queensize freshly made up bed. Bathroom is shared but also spacious and everything was spotlessly clean. She provided a homemade breakfast with coffee, baked eggs on toast and arranged a taxi to the airport. Highly recommended!"
