"The hotel was very convenient with a restaurant and next to a grocery shop - quite unusual for one on a small island"

"Friendly staff, great location, good breakfast, comfortable beds, very nice bathroom. We stopped here for one night on our Archipelago Ring Road cycling trip. Hjalmar's was a great location for us. We only ate breakfast here as coincidentally we had family members sailing in the Archipelago and they managed to reach the nearby guest harbour exactly the same evening we stayed at Hjalmar's but otherwise we would have definitely had dinner here, the restaurant looked great."

"My stay at the apartment in Turku was absolutely lovely. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. The location was great — peaceful, beautiful surroundings and still close to everything I needed. I especially want to highlight the staff — they were incredibly helpful and polite. When I had an issue with the DALL (key system), I went to the office and they immediately assisted me and patiently showed me how to open and use it correctly. I felt welcome, safe, and relaxed throughout my stay. I truly recommend this place and I will definitely return when I visit Turku again. 💕🙏"

"We spent a few days in August here with friends. The house is real well equipped and we found everything we needed. The kitchen was especially well equipped! We spent most of our day relaxing on the beautiful porch overlooking the lake. There were a few other people staying in units close by but it was still very quiet and peaceful. We even found a big patch of chanterelle mushrooms in a nearly forest. This is definitely somewhere we will want to return to."

"Location, reasonable price, the host was super friendly. We went to hunt Aurora and our car stucked in the snow, we called to the host and she managed to send a person who helped us with that problem. Thank you very much. The stay was warm, comofortable, clean.Parking was free. Sauna was included."

"We love almost everything about it. The location, the facilities, the ambience, the decor. We slept comfortably too, bed and pillows are comfy and ample spare blankets, pillows etc if needed. Very well equipped. Kitchen has everything and we can feel the hosts equipped them with customers in mind (they think about what we need. Wonderful job!) Hosts switched on heater before we came and allowed us early check in which is plus point for customer service. They were also easily reacheable (eventho they were out of country). We enjoyed the sauna and the private pier is just amazing. Kids went fishing but eventho no fish, they had fun. We all agree to come again on different season, perhaps summer for swimming in the private beach."

"The location is great! We love the area which is full of Art Nouveau buildings! The apartment is spacious, clean and equipped with a lot of kitchen utensils. And we love the bed, it’s so comfortable! The host was also very helpful!"
