"Easy to get checked in with the self check in machine. Close to the parking so didnt have far to unload my motorcycle into the room. Lidl is literally next door to stock up on essentials and a short 5 min walk and we were around bars and restaurants. Quiet little place and very relaxed. Will definitely stop there again. This was our favourite place in the 7 nights we stopped around Europe on our motorcycle trip."

"Needed an overnight stop travelling up through France and this place was the right place and right cost. Good parking and an easy automatic check in out of hours. The rooms are all facing the car park like a motel and although not huge actually work well. Comfy bed, hot water, WiFi, and within a 5 minute walk from the town with bars and limited restaurants. Wouldn’t want to stay a week but good one or two night stop off."
"Not much not to like. Bed was comfy and everything worked except the air con which was a nightmare. Off when you want it on, on when you want it off. Also a strange door alarm that goes off if you try to open the door in the night making you feel trapped. Could be funny if you weren’t hot and tired."

"The location is good and all over all it is a good hotel."
"I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights prior to flying. Great for getting to the airport. I found the hotel clean, no bad smells, the staff were warm and friendly, the food in the restaurant was good and my hotel room was comfortable, with a great bed. My bathroom had a choice of shower or bath..I would definitely stay here again."
"The hotel is in a great location, very quiet and easily accessible. It also has good parking facilities. The people are lovely with a very warm welcome, very helpful and a pleasure to talk too. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and great quality. Evening meal was very good too. The hotel is in a great location for visiting the region, it is an easy short walk into the centre of town. Also it has a nice pool and outdoor area if you want to just have a relaxing time. I have not hesitation in recommending this hotel."

"Pierre couldn't have been a finer host. We had been to Saint-Remy before just passing bthrough and wanted to sample it for a longer time as its so beautiful. Hotel Gounod is perfectly placed in Place De La Republique where there is a weekly market on a Wednesday, a must visit as the whole area becomes a market. Its also easy walking to and from the centre and all of the amenities, amazing restaurants and choices to eat, drink and explore. Pierre recommended some excelent places to eat and a very special place for my partners birthday celebration. The rooms are clean, very comfortable and quiet too which was a worry as my partner is a light sleeper but we needn't have worried at all. The gardens, pool and bar are lovely and the decor is ultra cool. We couldnt recommend this hotel highluy enough for a central place to explore the beautiful Saint-Remy and local area."
