"Everything was nice, but the city is very calm, you can choose this if you want peace. There is no action there. Although you can travel with boat or tuk tuk to other cities. In the room there are spiders, but it’s not a big problem. Also sometimes you have to wait for hot water in the shower, but that is also not so bad."

"It’s 5 minutes uphill on the tuktuk from the dock. Should cost q10 for the tuktuk but they always ask for more. It’s 15min ride on tuktuk to San Marcos. There’s some traffic from the tuktuks in the day but really quiet and peaceful at night. The staff are friendly and nice! There’s refillable water + able to request for hot water which is nice. There’s a terrace attached to the dorm room with table, sofa, hammock and a good view of the lake/mountains + moon at night. It’s really nice to chill on the hammock and stare into the night sky. The toilet/shower is big and clean and there’s hot water. The bed is really comfy and I had a really good sleep. The other travelers were quiet and respectful too. There’s a common area in front of the reception counter with some seats facing the lake which is lovely."

"Beautiful property with spacious rooms and great views. Everything felt light and airy, and the bamboo construction is really nice. This was a wonderful place to relax and recharge after a couple busy weeks. The staff were all very friendly and the food and drinks were delicious (try the Guatemalan breakfast and the cacao). My bed was comfy and the showers were fantastic with nice hot water and really good pressure."

"The location was ideal as I was seeking something more relaxing. You do need to walk or take a tuk tuk to get up to the property from the boat dock. The bed in the dorm was very comfortable, the facilities clean and welcoming, and the staff was always helpful. The food was delicious and well-priced. I felt very comfortable during my stay there."

"The location was very tranquil and beautiful. We moved here from San Marcos and it was so much more quiet, we had a wonderful view over the lake, the staff was very friendly, the smoothies were great and the common space of the area is really great for some morning yoga or capoeira classes that are being offered there. We also loved playing with the kitties. You can also pay with Bitcoin here which we made use of."

"The only thing was the privacy, we had booked a private room and some of the staff was walking over our patio to do some work around the property, sometimes it didn't feel that private. We also let the owner know about this and they said they will take care of it."
