"Very welcoming and attentive host, great location with superb views and conviently located to visit Volcán Poás. Excellent facilities and very nice breakfast. Very good value for money."

"What a surprisingly wonderful stay. OK, the cabin wasnt flash. It was a bit dated and worn (reminiscent of mid-20th century beach cabins), but it was spacious, comfy, everything worked, plenty of TV channels, the shower had good hot water, and the area was quiet despite being very close to the town, night market, and beaches. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing 4-day stay."

"A foglalás nem tartalmazott étkezést, de ezt előre tudtuk, mert az appartman rendkívül jól felszerelt volt, minden elképzelhető eszlözzel fel van szerelve a konyha, szuper volt ételeket készíteni. A vendéglátók egy üveg borral kedveskedtek, és még kis édességgel is elkényeztettek bennünket."

"We liked everything! The location, the cottage, bedrooms, washroom, kitchen, dinning area, private BBQ, deck, and private chairs by the water front! 1 min walk to Tim Hortons and Gas Station, 2 mins walk to the beach, 5 mins walk to Foodland. Samantha was very friendly. Stephen didn't say hi to us but that's okay. We will stay at this property again!"

some black mold flying out of the AC unit but I still give this place a 10.

"Very helpful host welcome pack was wonderful especally the cake. Always availible to help with any issues or questions"

Location views are wonderful, very quiet location short drive up hill to San Morino and shortdrive down to Rimoni.

"It was in a fantastic remote location with wonderful facilities throughout. Ideal for families or a group."

TV could do with being updated.

"The staff was really helpful. The property was neat and clean with all the basic amenities provided. Location was beyond perfect, near Vagator beach. If you’re looking for a calm, chill environment, then this is for you!!"

"Yes, it was a surprise to find that we had breakfast and some supplies so we didn't have to shop on the first day we arrived. also our flight from South Africa didn't arrive until quite late and our taxi was not waiting at the airport so it was very late at night before we got to Villa Mia. In spite of this our hosts were waiting to greet us on arrival, which was much appreciated."

Maybe the host could have dropped in at some time during our stay to see how we were going.

"Yes, it was a surprise to find that we had breakfast and some supplies so we didn't have to shop on the first day we arrived. also our flight from South Africa didn't arrive until quite late and our taxi was not waiting at the airport so it was very late at night before we got to Villa Mia. "Nice cabin in the jungle. The host was very supportive and waited for us in the apartment. He also gave us tips how to organise ourselfes in the village, which is a bit tricky in those closed areas in the middle of the jungle. The moskito nets where intact in Chez Faby (not in Carbet Bawouette)."

The village-wide WiFi does not work at all. There is free starlink at the grocery shop, otherwise you have no connection in the whole village. Apartment would need a thorough cleaning.

"From the beginning you could realise that Allison thinks of many details and cares a lot. Getting the keys and entering the house was very easy (contactless). The garden, the furniture, the book with housing rules and travel tipps, the cleanliness -> everything planned very well and with great care. Very late checkout was offered. We enjoyed the stay a lot and would clearly recommend it."

It was not clear to us that the pool was shared between 3 houses, don´t know if we just missed it. But in reality it was no issue, it was always empty, when we wanted to use it. Checkout rules could also be mentioned in the book. Despite that, it was still by far the best stay of our holidays.
