"The owner was exceptionally welcoming and kind, she even provided us the opportunity to wash our clothes. The room was very comfortable and clean, the property has a perfect location near to Geysir and several hot springs."

Plenty of room in the bedroom with settee and large modern bathroom. Breakfast was very good, especially the waffle maker :) Northern lights were visible outside. Food at restaurant was excellent."

"I spent a week in the smaller cottage at the end of December 2025. The accommodation was exactly as described, very cozy and quiet. I was afraid of the heating, but it was always pleasantly warm thanks to the underfloor heating. Margrét was helpful. The town was small, with one restaurant and one gas station. But since you had to go everywhere by car anyway, the wide range of supermarkets in Selfoss, 10 minutes away, was enough for everything."
