I had a meal with them; thank you so much for the excellent food and for all the open conversations on so many different topics. Thanks to them, I was able to discover more than I’d ever imagined I could in the single day I had there: a boat trip on the river (exploring a temple, seeing how cinnamon is processed, mangroves and so much more), a visit to the turtle conservation centre, and a tour of a semi-precious stone mine. "We had a wonderful stay here. It’s a friendly place full of character, with a lovely green and relaxed feel. We stayed in the Family House for the first couple of nights and were then upgraded on our last night to one of the new villas at the back with a private pool, which was amazing. The reception team were incredibly helpful and helped us find good, safe trips at fair prices, which was especially reassuring as we were travelling with our two-year-old son. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!"

"We loved our stay at Fort Printers! The property beautifully blends the history of the building with modern touches. We stayed in one of the heritage rooms - the Headmaster’s - which was truly special overlooking the courtyard and frangipani trees. The staff were great, breakfast was excellent, and we had a wonderful lunch by the pool. The bar and restaurant were fantastic, and the small pool was perfect for a refreshing dip. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Galle Fort. We would definitely return - thank you again!"

"A great view and a large balcony with a comfortable lounge. The restaurant area upstairs was a lovely place to have breakfast. The manager was very cheerful, helpful and attentive to our needs. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is not too far from Kandy city centre and Pallekele stadium."
