Run by a local family, Villa Shade is a charming and peaceful property surrounded by green gardens, just 4 km from Negombo City. Bicycles are available for rent, while traditional Sri Lankan breakfast is served upon request at an extra cost. Simply furnished, all rooms are cooled with a fan and are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities. En suite bathrooms come with a shower. Air conditioning facility can be provided on request at a surcharge. Villa Shade is a 10-minute drive from Negombo Bus Station and Negombo Beach. Bandaranaike International Airport is a 20-minute drive away. Airport transfers are available upon request. The villa's kitchen is accessible by all guests, while free wired internet is available at the reception. On-site parking is free.

"Lovely pool. Great staff. Spacious rooms with lovely bathroom and kitchen facilities. A great place to stay before travelling home as near to the airport. We also had dinner there which was very nice. The gardens are fab."

"Lovely quiet part of town. Absolutely beautiful gardens and accomodation. The outdoor shower was lovely. Shiraj and his team were all so polite and generous during our stay. We had a tour of the amazing fish pond as well as vegetable gardens. The pool was perfect to cool down and relax, and the kids loved the treehouse and basketball court."

"Welcome hosts who genuinely care about your stay, they absolutely aim to please. We spent one night to rest after a long flight, which was just 30 mins from airport. Taxi arranged at very reasonable rate. Breakfast and dinner traditional and great for what we paid."
