"The orchid garden is absolutely stunning, and the entire place has a fantastic feel of being almost completely remote- even though it's in town! We stayed in the more rustic bungalow, so make sure you review all pictures relevant to your booking, not just the deluxe accommodation, otherwise you might be a bit surprised! It was all comfortable and nice, had an issue with the hot shower, but it got fixed pretty much immediately. Someone is always on hand, the staff are lovely and friendly and realy helpful."

"It states daily housekeeping, when in fact it's every 2 days. Which is fine, but the towels won't dry easily in the humid environment and smell a bit damp after just one day. We asked for clean towels and got them immediately, so again, really no issues. Tatiana and her team know how to look after their guests!"

"A little too far from Mindo to easily walk into town. Missed having a kettle in the room for morning drinks for birdwatching from our balcony (although drinks were always available in the lodge)."

"The room and the lodge were beautiful. It was lovely to sit in the restaurant overlooking the stream and watching the birds. It's a 5 min walk to the centre which is just enough to be away from the traffic. The staff could not have been more helpful."

"It was so good, I went back for a second time. The rooms are clean and the breakfast area is a jingle full of birds and aguettas. A beautiful spot and greasy location to the town centre. Rodney was very helpful and have me a ride to the bus station. 10/10 for me"

"Diana was an excellent host. Breakfast was so delicious very healthy low in calories. I went with my furry babies and they were the most which enjoyed the stay. The weather was beautiful rain during the evening and sunny in the morning. No complaints all was amazing highly recommended."

"Kleber and his team really know how to look after their guest and made us feel very welcome. The service was outstanding.The hotel was clean, beautiful & and a perfect location - a 10 walk to the main street at the same time closer to the forrest and rivers giving g a feeling of sanctuary with its surrounding garden, lake & swimming pool. The suit has a feeling of luxury with a jacuzzi. Highly recommend this hotel."
