"The staff and owner were all brilliant! Hakim would check in with us everytime he saw us and sugvest things. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best when we stayed but I would go back just because of the staff. The breakfast was made fresh everyday and was brilliant. The hotel is more european style and even the owner made time for us. The hotel location is right in the centre of all the markets and nearby to everything you would want to visit. The facilities are clean and nice."

"We lived everything about the hotel, the TV was a bit complicated to use so might be worthwhile when being shown to the room, going through this with a staff member."

"Very close to both Petit and Grand Soco, heart of the Medina, the local cafes and many restaurants. Our host and the staff made sure we were comfortable at all times and the entire house is calming, tastefully appointed and immaculately clean."

Our spacious room was on the terrace which offered panoramic views of the Medina and lots of light each morning. Overall a very good experience in the middle of a very interesting neighbourhood."

"Lovely old Moroccan Dar, sensitively renovated to a high standard. Breakfast in a tent on the roof on cold winter mornings can be quite chilly, but would be glorious t all other times. The bedroom was warm with excellent heating, and a very good bed, so we were very comfortable. The bathroom shower was good with a heated towel rail. So nice! There was some noise from the alley beside our room, mostly loud chats between the shop owners which continued quite late into the evening. The staff at Dar Souran are outstanding. So very helpful and eager to make your stay the best it can be. In particular, we must mention Hakim, the manager, for his help leading us up to the Dar from outside the medina when we first arrived, and extra special thanks to him for helping us and our bags down to the ferry on the day that we left. In the rain! He is a treasure!"

"Beautiful Riad in the medina, very spacious with lounge seating areas on each floor. High quality throughout the Riad.The staff were especially attentive, organising a taxi and walking with us to the pick up point. Tea was brought to our room."

"A lovely room ,very comfy bed let down by having just a draw curtain across the doorway to the bathroom/ toilet which led to a lack of privacy."

"the room was spacious and comfortable, it was cold outside so there was a heater in the room. the breakfast was served on the (covered) roof terrace - very tasty with freshly baked pancakes and delicious orange juice. the riad is so big there are sitting areas where we could join watching football matches with other guests. the staff was extremely helpful and kind."
