"Really fabulous location - short walk to many attractions, numerous cafes, bars and restaurants on our street (MUST check out the cantina across the street - buy a beer, get a delicious free appetizer!) not too noisy (and the fan over the stove will eliminate virtually all hotel and street noises), and we felt quite safe going from point A to point B. Our room was very spacious. Lots of storage room for clothes. Nice big countertop in the bathroom. Strong water pressure in the shower. Cleaning staff does a terrific job! King size bed in main bedroom is very comfortable."

"The design of the shower door is odd. It’s hard to reach in and adjust the shower temperature without getting wet, and good luck keeping the bathroom floor dry. Do your best. They’re always happy to bring more towels! The pullout couch in the living room isn’t terrific as the mattress seems to sink quite a bit. The other issue with sleeping in the living room is that there’s a motion sensor in the hallway (3 other rooms on this floor) so anytime someone accesses our floor during the night the corridor lights come on, and they can be seen from in the room. This woke me up a few times when it was my turn to sleep in that room. So… bring a good eye mask if you’ll be using the pullout couch!"

"The room was very spacious. We did not use the kitchenette since we only stayed one night. Very friendly staff from reception to housekeeping. The neighborhood felt safe. Many restaurants on the street."

"5 days prior to arriving we got a message from Suites Del Angel that they require a prepayment. They emailed a link for the payment, which was valid for 4 days. We immediately made the full payment and received a confirmation of payment. 8 hours prior to arriving, we got an urgent message through Booking.com indicating our credit card was rejected and that we needed to make a payment with a new card or our reservation risks being cancelled. Communication went back and forth electronically until they finally acceepted that our payment was made. This was very stressful as we were in transit. In the end it worked out but there was obviously a lack of communication on their part."

"As a tourist in Mexico City, this hotel has a superb location. You walk a block and you are in Reforma, arguably the most walkable and beautiful road in Mexico (the country)! I went in mid-December, so they had Christmas Markets on that road and they had a great variety of handcrafted souvenirs and other artisanal products, as well as local foods. From there, you can go walking to an impressive amount of tourist attractions such as the Chapultepec Castle, the Anthropology Museum, and on the other direction you can make your way to the Palace of Fine Arts and to the Cathedral."

"The windows did not seal properly. This was especially bad as there are restaurants at the ground level with live entertainment that would go on till late. If you want to sleep early and/or isolate outside noise, this is not the place!"

"The location was perfect. It is so close to Angel de la Independecia and you can find a lot of restaurants and bars just in front of the hotel. I feel comfortable in the hotel, the staff was really kind and the facilities were good. I enjoyed my stay there!"
